Local man honored by former college

A Louisiana resident was immortalized in Lincoln Land Community College’s Athletic Hall of Fame on Saturday, Feb. 18,.
Chris Booth was a part of the fourth class to be inducted into the school’s hall.
Booth was a member of the 2004-2006 men’s basketball teams. His graduating class complied the most wins in school history.
He was also named the NJCAA Division II Region XXIV Player of the Year runner-up and Mid-West Athletic Conference Player of the Year runner-up in 2006, according to a press release.
Booth continued his collegiate career at Youngstown State University (2006-07) and Culver-Stockton College(2007-08).
While at Culver-Stockton, he was named All-Conference and Newcomer of the Year runner-up.
Booth was presented the honor by former LLCC Men’s Basketball Coach and Athletic Director Dick Dhabalt.
He is currently a teacher and coach at Louisiana High School.
